  2. Registration Instructions
    All participants are required to fill in registration details online. However, payment can be made online via credit card or by other means (bank draft, wire transfer).

    Please register according to the instructions below:
    • Proceed to the online registration system and enter your registration details. Follow the instructions on the page, then print the page "Confirmation of Payment Amount".
    • If you choose to make payment by credit card, please follow the instructions to finish the online payment.
    • If you choose to make payment by other means, please post a printed copy of the "Confirmation of Payment Amount" page together with your bank draft/cheque or photocopy of your bank slip (for wire transfer) to us.

    Please also note the following details:
    • Registration to COLIPS invited session is optional. In order to register for the invited session, the participant needs to be registered for the main conference.
    • Member rate is for existing COLIPS or IEEE members only. To qualify for member rate registration, the membership should be obtained before Sep 1, 2009.
    • Student rate is for full-time students only. For registration as a student, proof of student status has to be sent to us via email, fax, or regular mail. Please refer to section 4. Postal Address and Fax Number for contact details.
    • Each paper should be covered by a registration to be included in the proceedings and each registration can only cover one paper. If a student registered to cover a paper, the student should be the first author of the paper.
    • A registration is considered complete after both online registration is finished and payment is received by the conference.
    • Please note the deadline for each registration phase. As the date when payment is received by the conference will be considered as your registration date, kindly ensure that payment reaches us before the deadline for the respective registration phase.

    • Credit Cards: We accept both MasterCard and VISA. To pay by credit cards, please follow the instructions in the online registration system.
    • Bank Draft/Cheque: Please make your bank draft/cheque payable to COLIPS and post it to us. You may require the following information:

    No refund will be possible, but the registration may be transferred to another name.
